In this day and age, the fine "art" of the non-apology is everywhere. Even that lying felon Mike Vick has just issed one, thinking it is an actual apology. Example: "I apologize to everyone who was offended." That's not admitting you were wrong, only that you are sorry people's feelings were hurt! That's like punching someone in the face and then apologizing for the pain they are feeling. Not apologizing for the punch, but only for the pain it caused. Saying "I apologize to everyone who was offended/hurt" IS NOT ADMITTING GUILT! In fact, it's a big middle finger in the face of your accuser. That reply is perfectly acceptable if (and only if) you are NOT apologizing for what you have done/said. Every time I hear this, it pisses me off to no end, hence my post...
